Hi, I'm Georgi Marinov.

I am a software engineer with strong background in computer science and mathematics. I've been telling computers what to do for over a decade - sometimes while competing with others in Olympiads and online contests, sometimes for profit, but mostly, for fun.

I am passionate about technology, music and making the world better through both.

I am currently part of Traffic Control and Slicer SRE teams at Google, where we share the responsibility for some of the core Google services, including GSLB and public DNS (8.8.8.8). The availability of those services is essential for running many Google products (Search, Ads, Youtube ...) while adapting to user traffic, also for safely rolling out new features and cool stuff for those products globally.
